These terms govern your use of EndScroll. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Purchases made through the App Store are also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where that agreement and these terms overlap on a purchase, Apple's terms control.
EndScroll is a personal tool to help you spend less time scrolling. It is not medical, therapeutic or diagnostic advice, and it does not guarantee any particular change in your habits or sleep.
App blocking uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) on your device. You stay in control: you pick which apps to block, and an emergency unlock is always available. We cannot lock you out of your phone.
The app creates an anonymous account on first launch so your data has an owner. You can optionally link Sign in with Apple if you want that account on another iPhone. How we handle that data is in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for activity on your Apple ID. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, attack or overload the app or its services, or use it in a way that breaks Apple's terms.
Blocking, Focus, Spark and morning light are free. EndScroll Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks roadmap chapters 2 and 3, sleep plans longer than 3 nights, and all 6 habit slots (the free tier includes 1).
Prices shown in the app come from the App Store for your storefront and may differ by country. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.
You keep whatever you create in the app. We keep the app itself: the code, design, map art, characters, copy and trademarks. You may not copy, redistribute or sell those, or use EndScroll's name or art to imply we endorse something we don't.
We try to keep the app working, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that a particular feature will remain free or remain in the app. Features that depend on Apple (Screen Time, Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchase) only work to the extent Apple provides them.
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, sleep, productivity, or any indirect or consequential damages, or for amounts above what you paid us for EndScroll Plus in the 12 months before the claim (which, for App Store purchases, is the amount Apple remitted to us). Some places do not allow these limits; in those places they apply only as far as the law permits.
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop using the app and, if you have Plus, cancel it with Apple.
